Boat builders half hull of the chemical tanker Alacrity,

built at Goole Shipbuildings & Repairing Co.Ltd, for Everard & Son Ltd London 1966.

The Alacrity was sold to the Aminata Shipping of Morovia and renamed Abraham.

She had a fire and exploded in Monrovia on the 24th of March 1986 and was scrapped in July 1989.

The hull is carved form pitch pine,painted white with technical script and specifications.

The hull has come from the family of the uncle who was a Chalker at the yard until it closed in 1984, he was given this model as a parting gift.
