19 th century highly decorative Antique Large Calm Shell
The calm shell is the largest of the bi-valve molluscs found in the world and they can live for around 100 years, mostly found in the South Pacific and Indian Oceans.
The shelll is in good condition and still have the natural rough edges and the smothe inside.
Very beautiful and sculptural piece.
